The Sun Dance

Sun Dance: Healing and Transformation Personal Testimony

Greetings, Galactic Family. My name is Gustavo Ik, Kin 2, White Moon Wind.

With an open heart, I would like to tell you about my experience of the Sun Dance and how it connects my path with the Law of Time. For the last 21 years of my life, I have been guided by this system, in which Time is Art or Creation.

I had the opportunity to travel, get to know the cultures of my ancestors and, above all, get to know my own time and mind. I am not going to talk about codes or my personal interpretation of them, but about direct living and transformation.

The strength of the numbers 4 and 7 has different manifestations in dance. Sun Dance is a four-day process.

[Note: Sun Dance is a sacred ceremony practiced by various Native American tribes. It is a deeply spiritual ritual that includes prayer, fasting, dancing, and physical endurance as a form of personal sacrifice and collective connection with the Great Spirit, or Creator.]

Every morning before dawn, two rounds are held in the steam room, followed by dances for the Sun from four to seven laps per day. In the afternoon, two more rounds are held in the steam room to complete the traditional four rounds of the ceremonial steam room.

In dance there is always an alignment with the four directions, and each of them has its own color: black, yellow, red and white. Everything revolves around Kang Wakana, the Tree of Life. Dancers move under the drum and chants, and presenters make alignment with the Tree (the inner circle around the Tree of Life). Usually the obligation is to dance for four years with these intentions.

The first day/year is dedicated to the Great Spirit (God). The second day/year is dedicated to the family. The third day/year is dedicated to ancestors and relatives. And the fourth day / year is dedicated to personal dreams and the realization of the divine plan.

I never thought I'd dance for the Sun. However, everything changed with the oncological process of I’x T’zunun (Paola Keen, 117 Red Space Earth, who was my partner). When her health began to deteriorate, I did not know what else I could do, and the Sun Dance came to my mind. I said, "I'm going to dance." I had no choice, and I viewed the Sun Dance as a light that offered my prayer for her life.

Participation in this ceremony as a dancer has many meanings. One of them is fasting without food or water for 3-4 days. You must in advance

cook yourself a steam room and observe appropriate abstinence from bad thoughts, drugs, sugar, flour and sex. You must prepare the Offerings to the Tree and Grandmothers with the grandfathers keeping the place and finally make the ascent to the mountain to help set up camp and prepare for the ceremony.

Thus, because of the difficulties I faced, I began to prepare physically and mentally for participation. The organization of which I am a part, the Roots of the Earth, is supported by the Oglala tribe of Lakota, which includes families that have continuity from American Horses and Fear Bears. These are the ones that support this ancient design.

It was the middle 2020 The elders from the North could not leave the country, so the dance was canceled. To some extent, it was a relief. However, 4 A month later, T'Zunun passed away on the day of the Yellow Space Star 208. My reality is once again shattered. I felt terrible; just for 9 Days before her death, I just walked in 39- Hey (13x3) Solar Returns.

The Mayan elders in Guatemala believe that every 13 years we go through a process of initiation and change. I was very tired and sad after a process that took more than 2 years. However, I knew that I had to do something urgently for my life, and it was then that the Sun Dance came to my mind again. And so began my process of preparing for the Sun Dance.

Honestly, I was very scared. I didn’t want to make my offering/sacrifice (which some people call “hanging out” by ignorance). It is very difficult to explain what this Offering is, and each person has his own way of understanding, experience of living and feeling it. At the most basic level, I thought that by giving something to Kang Wakang, you show respect, gratitude and reciprocity. The blood or skin you give away is for God, family, ancestors, and your dreams.

In the circle to which I belong, no one is forced to make "Contributions". This is something very personal and completely unnecessary. There are participants who never do this, since physical effort, fasting and everything related to staying there for four days in the rain, in the cold, heat, thirst and hunger is already a sufficient sacrifice.

However, after many synchronicities, I felt the urge to make an offering.

We all feel fear at one point or another before making an Offering in one form or another. Doubts arise regardless of whether it is the first time or the last. The pain of being pierced with a scalpel, of stakes in the chest attached to a rope on a tree. It is a very intense process in which you enter a state of expanded consciousness. It is very important to remember your intent, to understand your own mind well, to think about the prayers and to focus on why you are there.

During the Offering, I realized that it wasn't about strength, it was about conviction. It was a moment of great liberation.

I can tell you a lot about beautiful things and important details, but it’s important to be able to stop in time.

In short, after my first dance, which began in 39 years, I felt that this initiation launched my path to maturity. I felt like I had entered a new phase of my life, and now, after four years of dancing, I feel like the healing cycle is over.

The purpose of Dance is not to mark your chest that you are a warrior, nor to be a shaman or a healer. Sun Dance is designed to heal, open the way to family, ancestors and become a better person. With the determination with which a person makes the Offering, he can also fight for his dreams and a better world.

I am very grateful for all the blessings I have received, even in spite of the difficulties. I am grateful to all the amazing people in my life: my living teachers, and those on the other side, my partner Giovanni and all my friends. I feel more alive than ever, with a clear purpose, health, prosperity and a lot of love in life.

I hope that this personal story will inspire you if you are going through a difficult or transitional period in your life. I hope that your practice of the Law of Time will open the way to synchronicity and you will be able to see the steps to follow.

Greetings and blessings.

I'm the other you.
